ICF-IID
Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities
Every individual deserves a home that is safe, secure, and their own as well as the support to live as independently as possible. NOVA’s ICF-IID group homes provide this opportunity in a community-based, family-like setting.
We’re ready to help light the way
NOVA’s ICF-IID specialize in serving adults from 18 to 70 years of age with dual diagnoses of intellectual disability and a comorbid psychiatric condition.
All individuals receiving ICF-IID services at NOVA participate in Day Program Services. Day Program Services are housed in the Dr. James H. McGlone Developmental Center in Goldsboro, NC. The Day Services Program provides prevocational training, vocational opportunities and placements, therapeutic groups, and recreation. The McGlone center is a vibrant community! At any given time, you may find individuals working hard at their elected jobs, participating in a coping skills group, learning something new, or debating sports teams over a warm cup of coffee.”
